Daily life can sometimes get in the way of your sex life. When it does, Viagra Connect is here to help.
Who it’s for: Viagra Connect is for adult men (over 18 years of age) who have erection problems (EPs) – what doctors might call erectile dysfunction (ED).
Who it isn’t for: If you are a woman, a man under 18, or do not have EPs, then Viagra Connect isn’t the right treatment for you.
Where you buy it: From our trusted partner ChemistDirect, from other online pharmacies, and from your local pharmacy. No prescription needed.
Are you taking other medicines? Some medicines can interact with Viagra Connect, so you’ll be asked what else you might be taking before you can buy it.
Do you have any other health conditions? Some men will have issues with their health that make Viagra Connect unsuitable for them. This is why you’ll be asked a few straightforward questions about your health before you can buy it.

The Food and Drug Administration is cracking down on “Viagra Connect” (stock image). The drug is now available in 50 mg, 100 mg and 200 mg doses. The FDA will soon have a new warning about the drug, as well as new warnings about its side effects.
Viagra Connect has been on the market since April 2023 and is the first drug approved for use in the United States by a major pharmaceutical company to treat erectile dysfunction. The FDA is concerned that it could cause problems for patients taking Viagra Connect and wants the new warning to be added to the label.
“This is a very serious matter and we are closely monitoring the situation and are working with our regulatory agency partners and the FDA to address this,” said Dr. Diana R. Pereira, director of the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. “We will continue to monitor the situation closely and ensure that our regulatory agency partners and the FDA remain fully informed of any concerns or information that is emerging about Viagra Connect.”
The FDA said in its letter to the agency that it would be “inactive” to the agency’s stance on Viagra Connect because “there is a risk of serious adverse effects and serious side effects associated with the use of Viagra Connect.”
The agency also asked that the FDA not label the drug as a “Viagra Connect-associated disorder.” The FDA said that it would continue to monitor the potential risks and other questions of the drug as it becomes available.
Dr. Pereira and her team of researchers at Johns Hopkins Medicine and the University of Texas Health Science Center in Baltimore said that they had not received a letter from the FDA concerning the drug, but they are hopeful that the new warning will be added to the label. The FDA’s review of Viagra Connect did not reveal any adverse effects, so it is unclear whether the FDA is ready to update the drug’s label.
“It’s important that patients have access to this new medication, and that they understand that the benefits of Viagra Connect outweigh the risks,” said Dr. Pereira.
“These new warnings will help the FDA maintain its ability to regulate the use of Viagra Connect.”
A clinical trial has shown that patients who took Viagra Connect reported an improvement in their sexual ability, reduced painful erections, and reported significantly improved sexual satisfaction.R. A. Pereira is director of the Department of Urology at Johns Hopkins Medicine and is the director of the Division of Urology at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
The FDA has also taken a new approach to the drug’s safety, advising consumers not to use the drug with other medications, including those that contain nitrates, that are often used to treat angina.

She said that the FDA is reviewing more than 100 studies to see if there are any adverse effects, and she is hopeful that the new warning will be added to the label.
“The FDA is also working with our partners to ensure that patients have access to this medication, and that it’s available in 50 mg, 100 mg and 200 mg doses,” said Dr.
“We hope that these new warnings will help ensure that patients do not have serious adverse effects or serious side effects associated with the use of Viagra Connect.”
